Teresa Waldman
Personal Trainer & Fitness Instructor

Theresa knows what it is to be unfit. As a chubby, nonathletic child and young adult, she turned an exploratory nature to the outdoors. This led to her to hiking, backpacking, and canoeing. With time she found that she enjoyed the exercise itself as well.
Fifteen years ago, a skiing accident landed her in the Mendocino Sports Club to rehab a wounded knee, and she decided to take her enjoyment of exercise further.
Her decades-long practice and periodic teaching of Hatha Yoga set a foundation to explore from, and she now finds that it dovetails well with personal training. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and abilities.
It is her greatest pleasure to see the many benefits people get from experiencing a balanced approach to fitness.
Her certifications include:
Personal Trainer with AFPA (American Fitness Professionals and Associates),
Mat level one Pilates,
Johnny G and Schwinn cycling instructor.
RYT500 ( Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance),
IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapist) certified Yoga Therapist
She also has training and experience in rehabilitative exercise and chronic pain management.
